Meet the new member of our family - Patches the guinea pig.
Grace got some money for her birthday and she has been saving her allowance and doing extra chores in order to have enough to buy a guinea pig. So yesterday we went and bought a cage and some accessories and set it up in her room. This morning we went and picked out a guinea pig.

Yeah Gracie! I know you will take good care of Patches! He or is it She is lucky to be your pet. He does kind of have the same design as th Cowboy horse.

That's so fun! Good way to learn responsibility too...Sue and I had to save our money to buy our parakeets too, and I had to write a report on them and in detail write about how I would take care of 'Pepsi the parakeet' before I got her!
