Almost Home!!

Thank you all for your prayers. Faith did amazingly on the flights yesterday. The first was only about 2 hours and she slept for all of it, but the second leg of the trip was over 6 hours and I really wasn't sure how she (or I for that matter) was going to do. She only fussed for a few minutes and that was when the plane had already landed and we were just waiting to disembark.

After fighting rush hour traffic in Seattle, we arrived last night in Lynden to the home of a wonderful lady who has moved in with her sister in order to let us have her home for as long as we need it. This lady doesn't even know us, she just heard about us through a mutual friend and offered her home. When we showed up here, Julie, our friend who arranged this for us, had brought some groceries by so we would have kid friendly things to eat for breakfast. Needless to say, we feel incredibly blessed by the generosity of others.

However, we are also glad that we will not have to take advantage of their kindness for much longer. A little while ago, we got the phone call that the last letter we were waiting for from Victoria, arrived at our adoption agency in Abbotsford. Because Florida is 3 hours ahead, it was after office hours there, so first thing in the morning, they will be creating the final document we need in order to cross the border and bring Faith home to Canada tomorrow!!!

We have enjoyed our time here, relaxing and bonding as a family. It's been great to see the way the big kids are with Faith. Ryan drove up to Abbotsford to pick them up last night and when they got here, they were so excited to meet her, hold her, feed her, and gaze at her.

The real-life version of the new picture from the top of the blog. :)

Yes,yes, yes!!! That is awesome! I am totally looking forward to a snuggle with that little lady tomorrow:). Clearly Grace is excited although I'm a little terrified of her smile;)

Life as six is clearly just as crazy as life as five as your final picture depicts! So looking forward to watching your family grow in this journey:)
