Sibling Love

Life as the mother of four has been busy and December was a bit of a whirlwind around here so I am quite behind on blogging. However, I have been getting a few subtle hints that it is time to post some new pictures so I am going to attempt to play catch up over the next few days.

Faith is growing quickly and fitting right into our family. Here are a few pics of the bonding she has been doing with her big brother and sisters.

Grace enjoys helping out with feeding Faith. She'll often prepare bottles for me and likes to feed and burp her baby sister.

She was even brave enough to help with diaper changing!

Rachel loves to hold Faith. Right before I took this picture she had been rocking Faith and singing to her,
"Rock a bye baby in the tree top
When the wind blows the cradle will rock
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall
And down will come Faithy cradle and all
But sister will catch you don"t worry at all."

Yes, it's pretty clear Evan is fake sleeping in this picture but he does love to sit and snuggle with Faith as often as he can.

even when he's busy reading! :)

Very cool! It is neat to see how siblings relate to one another and the relationships that build over time! This is always my favorite part of being a mom, watching my kids as they learn to love and care for each other. I continue to pray that what they share now will carry them well into adulthood and they will keep these close bonds they have developed.

That is definitely one of the benefits of having a larger age gap between your third and fourth hey...all three oldest are so keen to help with their baby sister:)

You've got some good helpers there. But more than that, they love their little sister! I am fortunate for the help I get from Chels, but more, I love the relationship she has with each of the younger ones... and they adore her for it. Faith will adore her siblings, just as much as they adore her now.

I love the pic of Evan, Faith and the book.
