Special People

Well, here it is halfway through October and I'm doing my first post of the month. Sorry to those of you who check in occasionally to see if I'm still alive, I'm going to be doing one of those great big long posts with all of the pictures and updates I should have been posting over the last few weeks. :)
This post is about some people who are very dear to us, Jakob and Eva Rempel. We got to know the Rempels when I was pregnant with Evan, and since then, they have been praying for us, encouraging us, and sharing their wisdom with us. They are "Oma and Opa" to our kids and wonderful mentors and friends to us.
Eva's health has been failing over the last few years, and so, at the beginning of October, she and Jakob moved to Whistler to live with their daughter and son-in-law. We know they will in good hands and they will be a blessing to many other people there, but we will miss them very much.

Ah, I love those 2!! We first got to know them when we helped with Alpha....what WONDERFUL people in so many ways. We'll miss seeing them and hearing Eva tell us they're praying for us, when we come home to visit.

Yes, so nice to see those familiar faces from the good old Heritage days! That's so neat that they've been Oma & Opa to your kids.
