Homeschool Fun

Here's one of my favourite things about homeschooling - we all get to learn together. We can't do every subject every day with these kind of hands-on, group projects but it sure is fun when we can. And it makes it especially meaningful when Daddy can join us. Ryan was off work this past week in order to work with his Dad on finishing our homeschool room (pictures to come), so he took a little break while the paint was drying to come and help us build bridges. We built several different beam bridges by folding pieces of poster board in different ways, in order to see which one would hold the most plastecine balls (or guinea pigs!)

Looks like fun Christa...I'm convinced that, with the right amount of time and desire, home can be the best place to learn! Unlimited opportunities, individualized attention, and from dawn til dusk to create learning moments!! If I ever homeschool I'll have to get some creative ideas from you!
