These were taken at the annual family skate at our church. This event has become a cherished family tradition for us. It is always a great place to see people who are in town visiting (Jon and Carmen this year) and to visit with people from our church family. This year we even got Rachel on skates for a little while. She was a little trooper and she tried really hard, I was very impressed! Evan was skating around so fast it was hard to get him to stay still for a picture! Grace had fun too. She was doing quite well as long as she had the walker thingy to hang onto and she tried some on her own. She and Evan will be starting a homeschool skating class in a couple of weeks and I think they will both enjoy that.
