Ray

In December my Grandma's companion, Ray Williston, passed away. Yesterday would have been his 93rd birthday so I thought I would post a few pictures in honour of Ray today.

I'll never forget this day. Grace was only a few weeks old and she was being quite fussy. Rather than handing her back to her Mama to deal with it, Ray rocked her and sang to her (he sang Amazing Grace over and over again) until she settled down. I love this picture because it shows how she was just gazing at him while he sang.
