Football

On Thursday night, Ryan and I left the kids at Boundary Bay with Mom and Grandma and went to watch a BC Lions game. Neither one of us are huge football followers and I actually did not have a clue about how the game works but Ryan was given tickets through work and they were box seats so we couldn't really turn it down. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the game (despite the fact that the Lions lost), and Ryan explained a few of the rules to me so I wasn't completely clueless by the end of the night. It was just nice to get out for a date (and not have to pay for babysitting!) Of course sitting in box seats with free food and drinks being brought to us throughout the evening was a nice bonus!
