There is a cheesy little amusement park not far from us, called Dino town. I had never taken my kids there before, and never even felt sorry about that, but we drove by it on our way home from the Okanagan and noticed that they were closing down at the end of the summer and I felt a bit of regret that the kids never had the Dinotown experience. So when a friend of mine arranged for a group of people to go and get the group rate, I agreed to join them. I wasn't sure if it would be a bit too young for our kids, but it turns out I needn't have worried. They all had fun, and so did I. So now we can say we went to Dinotown before it shut down!
