In mid-July, we enjoyed celebrating Alexis's 2nd birthday. Alexis is my second cousin I guess, or maybe my cousin once removed. She's my cousin's daughter anyway, whatever you call that. She's a sweet little girl and she's very special becuase she's been a source of great joy and comfort and healing to her family, who have experienced a lot of horrific tragedy in the last 2 years. Her party was at Centennial park in Tsawassen which is a beautiful place to enjoy the beach and one of the most amazing playgrounds I've ever seen - sorry I didn't manage to take any pictures of the playground, you'll just have to go check it out!
