Visitors form afar

Our family has enjoyed hosting several Japanese students for short term stays over the last few years. It is always fun to get to know them and introduce them to our little bit of Canada. These two lovely ladies were with us for only 2 days at the beginning of the summer, on their way home from a two week stay in Seattle. On the only full day they were with us we took them up to Hayward lake to do some canoeing, which they had never done before. Even though it was a bit cold, we enjoyed picnicking, canoeing, tree climbing, bird's nest finding, and snake-catching! And of course, Ryan enjoyed a little snooze, as usual! :)
